A woman who got a mummy makeover has opened up about the reality of plastic surgery that no one talks about, saying she wasn’t prepared for the smell of her bodily fluids or how her vagina is now ‘completely different’.
Stacey Hudson, 28, from Alberta, Canada, went under the knife last month and paid over $25,000 for a breast lift and tummy tuck. He’s been documenting his recovery on TikTok, where he uses the handle @stacehuds.
In a recent video, she shared some of the things she knew about mommy makeover surgery, including how her tummy tuck will change her ‘bottom’ look.
‘Nothing could have prepared me for this. No one ever talked about it or said anything. Surgery changed my vagina. All right. What?’ she said.

She admitted she wasn’t prepared for the smell of her bodily fluids or how her vagina was now ‘completely different’
Hudson (pictured before surgery) paid more than $25,000 for a breast lift and full tummy tuck last month when she went under the knife.
Hudson noted that the change makes sense when you think about it, but he wasn’t warned ahead of time.
‘When they take the top skin, they also have to take the bottom skin and stretch it together,’ he explained. ‘So, yes, it extends here, but it also extends from below.
‘It’s totally different out there now, and it’s really kind of weird. I have to wrap my head around it.’
Hudson also didn’t expect how ‘smelly’ she would be while recovering from her breast lift and tummy tuck.
‘I think it’s because you’ve got all these fluids. You get your drain, but then your drain comes out. It will come out,’ he said. ‘You’re pissing it off. You sweat it, and it reeks. No deodorant can save me at this point.
Hudson notes that you ‘can’t shower for a while’ after surgery, saying she’s spoken to people who have had to go 10 days without showering.
‘My first post-op shower I couldn’t even use soap, so I couldn’t help my smell,’ she explained.
Ma noted that laughing or coughing after a tummy tuck is extremely painful and ‘the second healing phase is worse than the first.’
Hudson (pictured one week post-op) said her tummy tuck changed her vagina, explaining that the skin also stretched ‘there’ during the procedure.
Hudson (pictured eight days after surgery) added that he reeked because of the fluid draining from his body. ‘No amount of deodorant can save me at this point,’ she said
Hudson’s eye-opening video has been viewed more than 791,000 times and received hundreds of comments, including messages from people who can relate.
‘In the first stage you’re bedridden, you can’t move, you’re on pain medication, whatever it is,’ he explained. ‘Then the second phase happens where you’re like, I feel like myself again, I want to walk around, but you can’t because you’re still healing.’
Hudson also shared the surprising reason why you can’t wear jewelry during surgery, after a nurse told her it puts you at risk of surgical burns from medical equipment.

‘Girl!! Thank you for the real reality!!’ One responded, while another added, ‘Hey!!! I gave everything you said! I am 15 days post-op.’
Others have reported similar changes in their vaginas after surgery that were unexpected — but it’s not just women who get a boost there.
‘My husband’s stomach is bald and his pee has been removed,’ one woman explained. ‘He likes to talk about it a lot.’
‘Just had mine 10 days ago. I was so confused when I peed directly on my mother’s knee as she helped support me,’ shared another.
