First-time bride Hayley Vernon admits to cocaine use as she celebrates 10 weeks sobriety

Former First Sight bride Hayley Vernon has confirmed that she recently stopped taking a crack at cocaine and has been drug free for 10 weeks.

The reality star-turned-unlifans content creator, 36, told her Instagram followers on Monday that she has been sober for ten weeks.

Hailey has previously spoken about her decision to give up booze, but her cocaine-fuelled fans may come as a surprise.

Contacted for comment, Hayley told Daily Mail Australia that getting sober was the best decision she ever made.

‘Let’s be honest here, most adults use cocaine recreationally – it’s more common than alcohol these days. What I understood [is] That it doesn’t serve me or what I want out of life – it actually robs me of happiness,’ she said.

‘The best thing I did in my 36 years was give up alcohol – let’s talk about that for a second. In my opinion alcohol does more harm than anything,’ he added.

Hailey Ahs has made no secret of her past struggles with alcohol, marijuana, and crystal meth during her MAFS journey.

Hayley started taking drugs when she was just 16, but kicked her bad habit before joining MAFS in 2020.

The reality star-turned-fans-only content creator told her Instagram followers on Monday that she has been sober for ten weeks.

It seems that she decided to give up cocaine when she broke up with her mystery boyfriend in May.

Hailey announced the pair had split in an emotional Instagram post, writing ‘Goodbyes are never easy. I got off to catch up with him last night and packed that chapter away.’

‘Lots of tears but I had to do something, say what I felt and this morning I feel lighter for doing it.’

Hailey said she’s grateful for the lessons the relationship has taught her.

‘He taught me how to love myself and I will be forever grateful for that, the right person is the wrong time and it will take some time to heal from that.’

Hayley explains that she turned to journaling to help cope with the breakup.

The reality star has no plans to quit her X-rated job after revealing last month during an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle.

‘I actually stopped escorting because I was seeing someone and it was getting serious, but he had a problem with it,’ she said.
