Two British mothers have revealed the terrifying escape from the Rhodes bushfires which forced them and their terrified sons to sleep in a hotel foyer before hitching a lift to escape the flames meters away - as they say evacuation chaos 'risks lives'




Abi Davies, who is in a party of six on the island including boys aged four and six, said they were left ‘tortured’ after being forced to walk five miles in 42 degree heat to escape the fire.
