Loved ones of Mrs Townley (pictured) have paid tribute to the ‘hardworking’ alpaca breeder who was described as the ‘rock’ of her family.
Ms Satterley was in a relationship with 25-year-old Rafferty Rolfe, the sole survivor who has now been charged with the robbery.
Friends of Ms Townley have set up a GoFundMe page and paid tribute to the loving fiancé and stepmother.
‘Jess was very special and meant a lot to them, she was their rock,’ said friend Kelly Goodwin who set up the fundraiser.
‘Jess was a hard worker and didn’t stop until the sun went down. She will always smile and brighten any day.’
As of Sunday afternoon, the fundraiser had raised more than $13,000.
Gypsy Satterley (pictured), 25, and a 65-year-old man were also killed in another car.
‘I’m sorry Troy, Montana and TJ. Jess was so beautiful inside and out. We are all thinking of you at school and are here to help,’ said one well-wisher.

In a statement, police alleged that a car ‘chased a man and woman into another car’ before 4am on Friday.
Driving north, the man ‘tried to push’ the victims’ car, causing both vehicles to cross the wrong side of the road, Queensland Police alleged.
Ms Satterley was in a relationship with 25-year-old Rafferty Rolfe (pictured), the sole survivor who has now been charged with the robbery.
“Those two vehicles collided with a third vehicle that was traveling southbound, driven by a 38-year-old woman,” police said.
Mr. Rolfe was pulled from a vehicle and charged with one count of armed robbery with violence.
Police allege he stole a woman’s Isuzu MU-X at knifepoint in Gympie on Thursday.
He is due to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
