A nine-year-old girl was found by police after she was abducted from the street by a stranger.
The child was walking to school with friends in Warnbro, south of Perth, when the man picked her up at 8.45am.
Officers rushed to the scene after being alerted to the incident – and found the girl outside a supermarket in Port Kennedy, not far from the area.
A nine-year-old girl was abducted by an unknown person on the streets of South Warnborough, Perth, on Friday morning.
A 30-year-old man remains in police custody.
He is assisting the police in the investigation.
The incident is under investigation.
