Commuters are being warned of major delays due to emergency track repairs in Sydney’s CBD.
Transport NSW issued the warning on Thursday morning, advising commuters to allow plenty of extra travel time on the rail network
As a result of the trackwork between Circular Quay and St James trains will only travel in one direction around the City Circle.

Trains on lines T2, T3, and T8 are experiencing delays (stock image photo)
Trains on the T2 Inner West and Leppington Line, the T3 Bankstown Line and the T8 Airport and South Line are experiencing delays as a result.
Transport NSW says some stopping patterns and platforms may change at short notice.
Passengers on the T1 North Shore and Western Line and the T9 Northern Line have also been warned to allow extra journey time due to a train experiencing mechanical problems at Central.
Passengers are asked to listen to announcements and check information displays for service updates.
