Australia’s Pedophile Punisher: Vigilante admits killing inmate who kidnapped child, after violently attacking another creep who sexually assaulted little girls: ‘Deserved it’
A prisoner with a hatred for pedophiles has admitted in a Perth court to killing a fellow inmate who pleaded guilty to kidnapping a nine-year-old girl.
Evan James Martin, 43, appeared at Stirling Gardens Magistrates’ Court via video link from Casuarina Prison on Wednesday to enter a plea to manslaughter over the alleged attack on Ashley Brofo.
Martin is currently serving an 11-year prison sentence for his involvement in a 2020 incident in which he attempted to kill another inmate who was convicted of being a pedophile.
Brofo, 42, the half-brother of Cleo Smith kidnapper Terence Kelly, was behind bars at Hakea Prison and was preparing to face court on charges of indecency with a child under 13 and encouraging a child to engage in sexual activity.
He was sentenced in 2022 after pleading guilty to luring a nine-year-old girl from a park near his home in Doubleview, a northern suburb of Perth.
Brofo offered her a Hungry Jack’s burger before taking her back to his home where he exposed himself to her and attempted to assault the girl. When Brofo’s caretakers arrived at the property, he fled.
Brofo was found unresponsive in his Hakiya cell on the morning of March 9 this year and could not be resuscitated.

Martin passionately told the court he was ‘very guilty’ of the murder charge.
As the magistrate, prosecutor and defense discussed a sentencing date, Martin interrupted to plead ‘as soon as possible’.
Settling before the Supreme Court of Western Australia on September 28, Martin said ‘Thank you, have a nice day’.
Martin has previously expressed his hatred of pedophiles
In November last year, he faced sentence for stabbing a 65-year-old man who was jailed for the heinous act of sexually assaulting four young women.
The victim suffered a staggering 47 wounds across her face, neck, back, torso, arms and a broken rib.
Martin candidly revealed to the judge the prisoner ‘deserved it’.
