An influencer has lifted the lid on how he uses reverse psychology to get men to buy his drinks, claiming it has an almost perfect success rate.
Kendall Kiper, 21, known as @kendallkiper on TikTok, has over 156,000 followers. He went viral over the weekend after sharing his trick for scoring free drinks.
‘It’s my best kept secret about how to get a free drink at the bar 99 per cent of the time,’ he said. ‘I’ve only once had it work for me – and I do it this way more often than I care to admit.’
The Georgia native, who lives in Los Angeles, explained that you first have to line up and find a guy to target.
Kendall Keeper, 21, went viral on TikTok after sharing her go-to trick for getting men to buy her drinks at bars, saying it’s her ‘best kept secret’
The influencer, who lives in Los Angeles, has more than 156,000 followers on the platform.
‘The type of people you find is very important,’ he notes. ‘You have to look for a guy who looks like they have a big ego.
‘The bigger the ego the better and easier it is going to be.’
Once you find your man, he said the next step is approaching him and asking him what he’s going to order at the bar.
‘So let’s say he’s like, “Oh, I’m going to order a tequila soda,” he continued. ‘You can either be like, “Oh, I like tequila sodas,” or you can be like, “Oh, I was going to order a vodka tap. I want to buy you a drink. Can I buy you a drink?”
‘Like I said, ego is a big factor,’ he added. ‘Ninety-nine percent of the time they’re going to look at you, and they’re going to be like, “What? No. What? Let me buy you a drink.”‘
Kuiper admits that his technique is ‘definitely a bit static’, but he refuses to feel guilty about doing so.
‘Let us not forget how men like to treat us,’ he said. ‘Ninety-five per cent of the time they treat us well, so it’s like girl, go get your free drink and move on.’
The TikTok star’s video has been viewed more than a million times in a day and received hundreds of comments.
Keeper explains that you need to find a guy in line at the bar who looks like he has a ‘super big ego’ and ask him what he’s ordering. Then, you offer to buy him his drink
‘Ego is a big factor in it,’ he said. ‘Ninety-nine percent of the time they’re going to look at you, and they’re going to be like, “What? No. What? Let me buy you a drink””
The keeper’s video has been viewed more than a million times. Many commenters thought it was ‘genius’, but others were worried they’d end up having to buy the man a drink.
‘Actually the smartest thing I’ve ever heard,’ one fan responded.
‘Meeeee I did this for my friend who doesn’t even have money. I’ll say “ok I’m buying my friends drinks” and they’ll offer to buy her too,’ added another.
‘I’ve done this before in my single era and let me tell you… it works!!!’ Someone else insisted.
However, others were concerned that the man in question would take them up on their offer and they would be stuck buying two drinks.
Kiper got so many questions that he filmed a follow-up on how to get yourself out of situations so you ‘never buy Chad a drink.’
‘Okay, listen, here’s what you do if that doesn’t work. You have a friend to see,’ he began.
The influencer suggests having a signal that each of you already knows. In this case, he gave examples of lifting his hands and scratching his head.

Keeper says that when your friend sees the signal, he should run to you and claim that he is going to throw. He adds that you can also fake illness if you are alone
He showed how he would casually start scratching his head the moment a man agreed to buy him a drink.
‘When your friend sees that, she’ll run over to you, and she’ll be like, “Oh my God, I’m literally going to throw up. I need you to come to the bathroom with me,”‘ she said. .
Keeper adds that you can fake being sick if you’re on your own, but she doesn’t recommend going out alone as a woman.
‘But if you are, you just have to put on your best acting skills and look sick and be like, “I- I actually think I’m going to throw up,”‘ she said.
‘I think it’s easiest because no one wants to be around him if you’re yakking.’
He warned that if you claim you need to find your friends or grab your Uber, the guy will still talk to you and try to get your number.
‘If you say you’re going to throw up, they’ll leave you alone,’ he concluded.
