Taylor Swift's ticket sales are frozen again

Taylor Swift fans endure a truly brutal summer as ticket sales freeze again – leaving their ‘ridiculous’ sales site in mourning

Taylor Swift fans scrambling for concert tickets after ‘ridiculous’ sale site halts queues to buy.

General sales for the popstar’s highly anticipated Eras tour began this morning, but like last week’s presale, the website apparently couldn’t keep up with demand.

Swifties are blasting the AXS system after it failed to let unique access code holders into waiting rooms and ‘broke the queue’.

Some who managed to get through the queue complained that the platform ‘flagged me as a bot’. Others said, ‘There is no seat’.

As a precaution to keep online sellers from crashing, fans are required to register their interest in upcoming shows in June. Ticketmaster and AXS then provide access codes to select fans for sales.

Some fans said they managed to snag a ticket, but only had the option to buy a VIP package – which ranged from £195 to £667.

The Eras Tour is set to come across the pond in the summer of 2024 General sale tickets go on sale this week and it’s already looking like a carnage

Fans complained that queues at ticket-seller AXS were suspended this morning as they tried to secure tickets.

‘This AXS system for Taylor Swift tickets is ridiculous. Can’t even get into the “waiting room,” one fan tweeted. ‘Who would have thought that giving one company a monopoly on tickets would cause problems with literally hundreds of thousands of people trying to buy them all at once…’

The same fan later tweeted: ‘Finally after 44 minutes of error messages in the queue and “queue paused”. What a jerk.’

Another fan added: ‘Access tickets for @taylorswift13 went on sale at 11am. We got in at 11:02 they were already sold out.

‘I have seen content that tickets have been sold before. As a blind screen reader user and an accessible website. It is very unfair indeed.’

A fan who claims to be fifth in a row for the singer’s Edinburgh show has claimed an online ticket reseller mistakenly believed he was a bot.

‘I got number 5 in line for Taylor Swift tickets and now you think I’m a bot,’ he tweeted. ‘The link won’t allow me to log in again to enter another queue.’

Another echoed: ‘I’m getting flagged as a bot for refreshing too many times. Help me fix this before the 1pm sale for Taylor Swift.’

Some fans said they managed to snag a ticket to the singer’s Wembley show, but only had the option of buying a VIP package – which ranged from £195 to £667 per ticket.

‘Woooo I got tickets to Taylor Swift at Wembley! So happy!’ One wrote. ‘Had to buy a package but at least got it!’

Another fan echoed: ‘Anyone else who has come through the queue only to see the buy package options? No standard tickets?’

Ticketmaster crashed again in Paris last Tuesday as 1M Taylor Swift fans rushed to the website to buy pre-sale concert tickets.

France’s Ticketmaster has announced that sales for the Paris dates have been ‘put on hold’ because people were unable to log into the website with their passwords.
