Man, 76, arrested in western Sydney stabbing of 45-year-old woman Man in stable condition in hospital
An elderly man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in the chest, back and neck and a woman understood to have been arrested in western Sydney.
The 76-year-old man was treated by paramedics who were called to a unit block in Torres Crescent, Wallan, at 2.25pm on Saturday.
The man was taken to nearby Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

NSW Police confirmed a 45-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and is assisting with the investigation.
Officers from Mount Druitt Police Area Command established a crime scene and detectives are investigating.
