Queen Maxima of the Netherlands looked stunning in a statement gown at a gala dinner in Brussels this evening.
The gala dinner was held at the Belgian royal family’s official residence, the castle of Laeken, on the first night of a three-day state visit to Brussels by Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander.
Looking effortlessly elegant, Queen Maxima wore a dusty pink gown, which featured a beaded bodice and a full, ruffled skirt.
The 52-year-old Dutch queen wore her 1897 Stuart tiara with her hair swept back. Queen Máxima previously wore the elaborate tiara for a state banquet at Buckingham Palace in October 2018.
An embellished diamond necklace and matching diamond drop earrings gave Queen Maxima the finishing touch.

Meanwhile, her host, Queen Mathilde of Belgium, looked equally elegant in an ornate pale blue strapless gown.
The 50-year-old mother of three draped a long lace shawl over her shoulders and carried a small clutch bag.
Also wearing a tiara, a diamond necklace and diamond earrings, Queen Mathilde’s jewelery was just as spectacular as Queen Maxima’s.
The two heads of state, King Philip and King Willem-Alexander, who were both due to give speeches, looked smart in white ties and tails.

Arriving by train at Brussels-South train station, Dutch Queen Maxima dazzled in a fitted pale gold coat dress.

Queen Maxima chose the Grand Stuart Tiara, created in 1897, for the occasion. She wore an ornate diamond necklace around her neck and elegant drop diamond earrings.

The mother-of-three wore her long blonde hair in a sophisticated bun, accessorizing with a wide-brimmed cream hat, diamond earrings and a three-strand necklace.
She finished off her classic look by adding dark beige shoes and matching gloves.
Joined by her husband King Willem-Alexander, 56, who looked sharp in a royal blue suit with a crisp white shirt and pale blue tie, the two posed for photos and well-wishers flocked to wish them well.
Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib welcomed the couple before they left to greet King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium at the royal palace.
The four were delighted to see each other, with King Willem-Alexander pausing to kiss Queen Mathilde’s gloved hand before embracing each other in a hug.

Queen Máxima and King Willem-Alexander enjoyed a formal welcome as they arrived at the palace to sign the visitor’s book.
He beamed as he greeted fans and well-wishers in the crowd after Queen Maxima and Queen Mathilde walked down the aisle.
Adding to her look, Mathilde, 50, also wore delicate diamond drop earrings and a matching red hat with a sweet bow on the side.
Her husband, King Philip, 63, looked dapper in a dark blue suit, white shirt and paisley-patterned tie.
Upon arriving at the Royal Palace, Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander were invited inside to take part in a welcoming ceremony.
Seated at a table in the magnificent ball room, officials looked on at the King and Queen of Belgium as the royal couple signed a book.
After the ceremony, the King and Queen of the Netherlands will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, in memory of all unknown Belgian soldiers who died during the First World War.

Their action-packed day doesn’t stop there as Willem-Alexander and Maxima will head to Belgium’s federal parliament to speak with members of the Chamber of Representatives and Senate before touring the building.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima’s visit does not stop here. Wednesday will see the King and Queen visit Autignys-Louvain-la-Neuve, before traveling to Waterloo and Charleroi, before heading to Leuven and finishing in Antwerp.
The state visit aims to reaffirm the excellent relations between the two neighboring countries, which share strong historical, social and economic ties.
During the tour, the two royal couples will visit many different centers, museums and organizations that are working towards a sustainable future where energy is green and affordable.
