This is the moment a father climbs a waterslide to rescue his frightened daughter after she gets stuck at a popular adventure park.
Andrew Rees, 38, headed to Gulliver’s World in Warrington on Saturday July 10 for his wife Emma, 41, for their six-year-old daughter Sienna’s birthday.
Disaster strikes for the Merseyside family when Sienna decides to go on a waterslide but the boat breaks down midway.
Seeing that his daughter was ‘terrified’, Andrew rushed to the rescue and climbed up the slide, ‘taking too long’ to arrive when staff were called for help.
In a video captured by Emma, Andrew can be seen climbing the waterslide to rescue his daughter.

Seeing his daughter ‘terrified’, Andrew rushed to the rescue and climbed up the slide, ‘taking too long’ to arrive when staff were called for help.
Emma can be heard laughing in the background as she tries to climb the vertical part of the slide.
The crowd cheers as Andrew manages to reach the part of the slide Sienna is stuck in and begins to try to free the boat.
Proving difficult, the father eventually manages to free the boat.
But it’s not the easiest slide and Andrew has to use his legs to pull the boat. Emma can be heard whooping as the pair head downstairs.
‘Sienna was upset and crying on the boat and we could see she was scared, the crew called for help on the radio but it was taking too long,’ Emma told MailOnline.

The crowd cheers as Andrew reaches the part of the slide Sienna is stuck in and begins to try to free the boat.
‘The sun fell on him and he was frightened. His dad suggested going up the water slide and I said he couldn’t because he would go back down.’
Emma added: ‘But … Andrew being Andrew he stepped up to save our daughter.
‘He was our hero and Sienna was so happy that her father went to rescue him.’
Emma said she felt ‘hilarious watching her try to climb the slide’ but was grateful she was there to help Sienna.
