ITV accused of refusing to pay for Philip Schofield’s ex-boyfriend’s private therapy ‘despite being offered to the former This Morning host’

Schofield was reportedly offered a personal therapy package following his departure

ITV has refused to pay for Philip Schofield’s ex-boyfriend to undergo therapy, it has been claimed.

Schofield was reportedly given a personal therapy package following his departure from This Morning last month.

But the star’s younger boyfriend, a runner who worked out with Schofield, was denied compensation for the therapy when he asked, an insider told The Sun.

Slamming ITV for being ‘a bit hypocritical’, the source said the network told Schofield it would pay for ‘any therapy’ but only offered the runner a ‘basic package’, which he is understood to have turned down.

The network alleged that it was ‘paying a duty of care’ to both Schofield and Runner. MailOnline has contacted ITV for comment.
