Warwick caper hires Mick Gatto as 'security' at his bash to ensure Ricky Nixon doesn't get in

AFL star Warwick has slammed caper Ricky Nixon and hired underworld figure Mick Gatto as ‘security’ at his 60th birthday bash to ensure fellow footy legends don’t get caught up in controversy.

AFL stars Warwick Capper and Ricky Nixon battle to see who will have the best 60th birthday party.

After footy wild man Caper told Nixon he didn’t want a joint 60th birthday with him, the former AFL sports agent decided to bring him back.

Capper planned a lavish birthday party on July 15 at the Pier Hotel in Port Melbourne, celebrating just him.

But Nixon decided to take the limelight just a week earlier, on July 8th, by holding his own party at the exact same location.

Before the announcement it was believed that Nixon would attend Caper’s birthday bonanza, but now he is no longer welcome.

Speaking to The Herald Sun, Capper said: ‘He said it’s about you and I said of course it is, nobody knows you.

‘I said you can have 10 which is perfect. She’s had so much plastic surgery that tears are running down her back.’

The former Sydney Swans player said guests on the night would include Wayne Carey, Sam Newman and Billy Brownless.

Also in attendance will be underworld figure Mick Gatto, who Capper says is ‘security to make sure Nixon doesn’t get in’.

After spending $80,000 on her teeth, Capper knows how to splash her cash, and she’s doing just that for her extravagant 60th birthday bash.

After the footy wild man told Caper Nixon (pictured) he didn’t want a joint 60th birthday party, the former AFL sports agent decided to bring him back.

Speaking to News Corp, he said: ‘I’ll put $10,000 on the bar and this will probably be the last party before I die.

‘The theme is sex, like me. I look only 39, I had my eyes done and some botox, I am very attractive man.

‘The party will still be off. I’ll have all my mates and it’ll be full of interesting people and great music with me on drums.’

There will be plenty of entertainment throughout the evening including performances by Shannon Knoll, Boom Crash Opera, Taxiride and Brian Mannix.

The official party has since been postponed, as the capper was originally scheduled to go to The Amazing Race Australia celebrity edition.

Capper turned 60 on June 12th while Nixon reached the milestone birthday on April 3rd.

Underworld figure Mick Gatto (pictured) will also be in attendance, who Capper says is ‘security to make sure Nixon doesn’t get in’.

However, he said he decided not to do the show when he found out he wouldn’t make enough money from it.

It comes after news that the former AFL star is making money on the Caper Cameo platform.

He charges $151 for a personal video and $1,057 for a business clip

Capper is described in his cameo biography as an ‘AFL legend, TV mega star and a DJ king’.

Warwick played for the Sydney Swans and Brisbane Bears throughout his career.

During his sporting heyday in the 1980s, Capper was the Sydney Swans’ leading goalkicker.
