Jenny Garth is supporting her former co-star and rival Shannen Doherty as she battles her recently revealed brain cancer.
Newstimesuk.com caught up with the Beverly Hills 90210 actress at a grocery store in Los Angeles. Asked if he was supporting Doherty, Garth replied: ‘Of course. Whatever he needs.’
The pair butted heads while starring in the 90s teen drama and Garth, 51, revealed in August 2019 that the tension was so intense they almost got into a physical fight on set.
The rumor mill started churning again in March when some fans called out Garth for excluding Doherty from social media posts when they both attended Con in the 90s earlier this year.
But it appears Garth is willing to put the feud behind them after Doherty revealed last week that her breast cancer had spread to her brain.

On Wednesday, her former co-star Doherty shared more insight into her ongoing cancer battle.
He uploaded a video on social media and wrote, ‘January 16, 2023. Surgery. I had a tumor in my head they wanted to remove and also wanted to do a biopsy. I’m obviously trying to be brave but I’m disappointed.’
Doherty was shown in a hospital bed, wearing a gown and cap over her hair, appearing to be in good spirits before being put under anesthesia.
Her caption read, ‘This is what cancer looks like.’
He wrote, ‘The fear was overwhelming to me. Afraid of all the possible bad outcomes, worried about leaving my mother and how it would affect her. Worried I won’t get out of surgery again.’
This week Doherty uploaded a video clip showing him talking to a medical professional before the tumor was removed from his head.
Shannon’s post included a heartbreaking clip of her crying while undergoing cancer treatment at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
It comes after the actress underwent a CT scan on January 5 that revealed cancer cells had spread from her breast to her brain – known as ‘brain metastases’.
According to the Mayo Clinic, breast cancer can cause brain metastases, which can cause tumors or tumors in the brain.
Doherty explained that she had her first round of radiation therapy on January 12 and was scared despite having a ‘fantastic’ medical team.
Her post included a heartbreaking clip of her crying while undergoing cancer treatment at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
The star explained that it’s part of the ‘fitting process for the mask you wear when your brain is exposed to radiation’.
In March, Doherty and Garth posed for a rare photo together with Tori Spelling, Jason Priestley and Ian Ziering at a 90s con.

But fans noticed that Doherty was noticeably absent from several photos despite being at the event.
Several hours later, the What I Like About You actress added another comment to her post to defend herself against allegations of conflict with Doherty. But it got worse when he misspelled Doherty’s first name twice.
‘Okay. Everyone needs to take a deep breath… 1. I didn’t have a picture of me with Shannon on my phone to add. 2. I did not have access to a Shannon banner backstage. As if none were lying in the pile.
‘3. We had almost completely different schedules so sadly we rarely saw each other. 4. Stop guessing when you have no idea what you’re talking about. 5. Please stop reaching out to paint such negative narratives. Here and everywhere,’ Garth wrote.
She later posted a group photo with the cast — and included Doherty.
