Greg Norman files suit against female student claiming she was sexually assaulted at a party at his home

Australian golf great Greg Norman is being sued in Florida after allegedly sexually assaulting drunken high school students during a party at an $18 million estate.

Norman, 68, who was the CEO of Saudi-owned golf tour LIV, is named in the civil suit along with his third and current wife, Kirsten Kuttner, for neglect and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The lawsuit, obtained exclusively by Newstimesuk.com, was filed March 22 by anonymous plaintiff Jane Doe, a minor child who was a classmate of Norman’s stepdaughter — and Mother Doe and Father Doe, her parents, in a courtroom near Norman’s mansion in Palm. Beach Garden.

The legal action has been under the radar as Norman deals with the rivalry between the PGA Tour and the Saudis’ challenge to take over professional golf.

The allegations are that a female high school student who attended a booze-fueled outdoor pool party at Norman’s home was sexually assaulted by two men identified only as MB and CR, both minors, according to documents obtained by Newstimesuk.com.

The alleged assault took place ‘in a grassy area near the accused’s pool.’

A female high school student who attended an alcohol-fueled pool party at Greg Norman’s home has alleged that she was sexually assaulted by two men.

The unnamed minor is now suing Norman, 68, and his wife Kirsten Kuttner for negligence and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The alleged attack took place in a ‘grassy area near the accused’s pool’

The case did not mention whether a police report was filed. Juvenile records in Florida are not public and are sealed.

According to Palm Beach County property records, Norman’s spread is more than 2 acres and appears to be covered in lush vegetation.

The suit seeks ‘damages in excess of $50,000’.

Jane Doe is described in the complaint as an alumnus of the fancy Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, a private school founded by billionaire Bill Koch that charges more than $40,000 a year.

Former President Donald Trump’s teenage son Barron was a student there at the time of the incident. There is no indication that he was at the party.

Jane Doe is described as a classmate of ‘Kay’, the 55-year-old daughter of Australian former interior designer Kirsten Norman, who began dating The Great White Shark in 2010 months after her divorce from tennis great Chris Evert.

Kirsten has two daughters from her first marriage, Kaya Kutner, 18, and Kelly Kutner, 15. Both are living with the Normans. Kaya graduated from Oxbridge in May.

“On or about September 6, 2021,” the defendants allowed their daughter Kay to host a pool party at their home, the complaint states. Jane Doe was an invited guest of defendants’ daughter and arrived at the pool party before other invited minor guests.

‘Prior to the arrival of the other minor guests, Jane Doe and … KK were provided alcohol by defendant Kirsten Norman.’

Later, the complaint continued, ‘more alcohol was consumed and publicly displayed poolside for underage guests to consume.’

Over time, according to the complaint, Jane Doe became ‘unable to stand up for herself and was seen stumbling around the party.

‘After the plaintiff apparently consumed alcohol, she was sexually assaulted’ by two other party members, minors MB and CR

Property records show Greg and Kirsten Norman bought the Tillinghast Circle property a little more than 2 years ago for $12.2 million. According to the real estate website, the five-bedroom, six-bathroom, 10,000-square-foot home could fetch more than $18 million.

Kirsten’s daughter Kaya, above, graduated from Oxbridge in May. The complaint describes Jane Doe as an alumnus of the fancy Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, a private school founded by billionaire Bill Koch that charges more than $40,000 a year.

Jane Doe and her parents claim the Normans have ‘failed to fulfill their duty to ensure her safety, well-being and sobriety’ and ’caused physical injury and consequential pain and suffering.’

A second count against the Normans is contributing to the delinquency of a minor because the minors allegedly consumed alcohol on their property. The age requirement for public or private consumption of alcohol in Florida is 21

Norman finished second at The Masters three times and the US Open twice. He won the British Open twice in 1986 and 1993

The case file shows Norman has not yet been served with the indictment, but the case was assigned to a Palm Beach County Circuit Court judge.

‘This matter has been fully investigated and closed,’ said Stuart Grossman, Norman’s lawyer. ‘The allegations in this case are false. We had no idea it was being filed. We will take appropriate action against the concerned lawyers and parties. It is most unfortunate that it will be filed two years after the incident.’

Oxbridge officials failed to respond to emails seeking comment about the school’s policy on off-campus parties and underage drinking, and whether the attackers were classmates of the victim.

The attorney who filed the suit did not respond to emails and phone calls seeking comment.

The Normans, meanwhile, live at the Old Palm Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, a gated golf community of multimillion-dollar homes owned by many golf personalities.

Former US Open winners Rory McIlroy and Ernie Els have recently moved on, but the list of well-known TV fixtures such as Australia’s Ian Baker-Finch and South Africa’s Louis Oosthuizen and Branden Grace remains impressive.

Nicknamed The Great White Shark because of his looks, Norman is known around the world as a perennial runner-up at many major tournaments who found it difficult to cap outstanding performances with a win.

He finished second at The Masters three times and the US Open twice. He won the British Open twice in 1986 and 1993.

Business, however, is where Norman really excelled. He owns more than a dozen successful companies. In addition to a wine company, he founded businesses in real estate development, interior design, golf apparel, golf course design, canned cocktails, and restaurants.

Norman became the CEO, spokesperson and public face of LIV Golf when it launched in October 2021 with a rumored $2 billion from Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund.

LIV, the Roman numeral 54 to denote the 54 holes in an LIV tournament, claims it wants to revitalize the professional side of the game with tournaments 18 holes shorter than the PGA, richer wins, more stars and changed marketing.

Phil Mickelson, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson were lured from the PGA with a $25 million LIV tournament purse, including $4 million for winners.

For Norman, too, LIV offered an excellent salary. He received a rumored $50 million for the tour.

The case was wrapped up as Norman’s controversial Saudi-owned golf tour LIV struck a bombshell deal with the PGA Tour earlier this month.

Former President Donald Trump was photographed with Norman at a LIV golf tournament at Trump National Golf Club last month.

Trump, whose golf courses have hosted several LIV events, has been a supporter of LIV Golf and celebrated news of the merger.

Norman declined to confirm that number in interviews but said he had to step away from his other companies to focus on LIV.

The rivalry between the PGA and LIV quickly turned nasty, with the PGA Tour suspending players who chose to play on the LIV circuit.

The move led to a lawsuit filed against the PGA Tour by 11 players, including three-time Masters champ Mickelson and 2020 US Open champ DeChambeau.

Earlier this month, the PGA Tour abruptly agreed to merge with LIV to create a new entity that has yet to be named.

Norman told reporters that he had no idea about the merger, sparking speculation that he was losing his influence at LIV.

His role, if any, in the new entity has yet to be determined.
